The octopus flashes a kaleidoscope of bioluminescent light as it carries the bottle filled with the anecdote. It returns the glass container to the tide pools where it was first left as a signal to ask for help from the ocean.

This painting was created as a part of an ocean series and is a companion piece to “Octopus and Anecdote” and “Sea Witch.”
